Museum Seeking Photographs of NYC Marathon
The Museum of the City of New York seeks contemporary photographs, from both professional and amateurs alike, of the wide spectrum of experiences and locations along the marathon route, from the starting line, as it courses across five bridges and through diverse and vibrant neighborhoods in all five boroughs, to the famed Central Park finish line for consideration for inclusion in an exhibition at the Museum to open in October. NYC Gallery Postcard Exhibition
A.I.R. Gallery invites you to participate in its yearly benefit postcard show. “Wish You Were Here 14” will run from July 1 – July 26, 2015, in the gallery in Brooklyn, NY. Last year’s exhibition featured original works by more than 300 artists. Its mission is to provide leadership and community to women in the arts. Instructors Wanted for Grumbacher Workshops
Grumbacher is actively seeking realistic painting and drawing instructors. This is a great opportunity for artists and teachers to share their skill and ability with others while creating artwork in a fun and family friendly classroom setting. Classes consist of drawing and acrylic painting lessons dealing with landscapes, seascapes, still life, realistic and illustrative subjects.
