Exhibitions Without Walls is seeking 25 photographers and digital artists for ”Four Elements”, an online exhibition of art that visually speaks to one or all of these elements. Wild Bees Photograph Contest
Deadline: April 17, 2015. The Center for Food Safety and the Wild Bee Gardens app have teamed up to offer a photography contest designed “to bring attention to the dazzling diversity of our pollinator species and to highlight the important and rewarding business of creating your own wild bee garden.” The winning photographs, which will be featured on CFS’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages, will capture and convey the beauty, diversity, and unique qualities of varying pollinators – including (but not limited to) bees, butterflies, birds, bats, and beetles. Plein Air at Olana
Deadline: April 18, 2015. The Olana Partnership in collaboration with the Columbia County Council on the Arts are pleased to announce a call to artists to apply for Plein Air at Olana: Creating Landscapes Within the Landscape, an event that gives the opportunity to paint and exhibit through juried selection on the 250-acre artist-designed landscape at Olana, the home of acclaimed nineteenth-century Hudson River School painter Frederic Edwin Church. LensCulture Earth Awards for Photographers
Deadline April 30, 2015. This is LensCulture’s first call for photography focused on the planet. $25,000 in cash awards plus opportunities to earn global recognition among top photographers working on the subject of Earth. “From artful and conceptual examinations of our diverse relationships to Earth, to journalistic exposés of environmental concerns or the stories of the good work being done to address them, photography is a force that defines how we see—and live in—the world.” Learn more.
Embracing Our Differences Public Art
Deadline: April 30, 2015. In partnership with the City of Sarasota, FL, Embracing Our Differences is an annual request for proposals for an outdoor landmark sculpture that will be placed within a new roadway roundabout currently under construction. The public art project will select three accomplished artists that would be a good fit for this project; these artists will be offered an opportunity (and $1,000 honorariums) to develop and present their proposals. Healing Arts Gallery

Healing Arts Gallery at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, New Hampshire, is: “A convergence of Medicine and the Arts to provide sustenance for body, mind and spirit, affecting all levels of healing in the hospital environs.” Artists interested in submitting works of art “that support a therapeutic and restorative experience for viewers in a healthcare setting” may apply. Artist Spotlight – Publicity
Deadline: December 31, 2015. Professional Artist magazine selects one artist bimonthly to be featured in the Artist Spotlight section of the magazine. The competition is open to all artists 18 and older who “like” Professional Artist on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or participate in our LinkedIn discussion group. The winning artists will receive a two-page interview profile and one or two images of his or her artwork printed in the magazine. Artists Run Gallery
Deadline unknown. The Foundry Gallery is seeking a few established and emerging artists in the greater Washington DC area for membership in its nonprofit cooperative gallery.
