University of Michigan Healthcare “Gifts of Art”
Deadline: Mary 31, 2015. Gifts of Art is seeking exhibition proposals for its Aug 2015-Aug 2016 exhibition year. It is one of the first and most comprehensive arts in healthcare programs nationwide, and brings the world of art & music to the U-M Health System. Exhibition and Auction at Taos Art Museum at Fechin House
Deadline: May 30, 2015. “A Russian Night in Taos” is a gala exhibition and auction that will showcase artists who find inspiration in Fechin’s legacy, Taos, and the creative traditions of the Southwest. Accepted artwork will be promoted in the Museum’s press and program literature and online, and sold in festive live and silent auctions. Manhattan Arts International Dares to Present “Hot Topics”
Deadline: August 2, 2015. This online exhibition, August 15-October 15, invites artists from around the world in all styles from representational to abstract to conceptual with Hot Topics in these three general areas: Art that represents hot subjects in Nature and Human Nature; Art that conveys intense, powerful imagery and/or emotion; and Art that tackles hot topics related to social, environmental, political and other subjects of controversy. All mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, work on paper, and mixed media. Cooperative Gallery in Washington, DC Seeks Members
Deadline: December 31, 2015. The Foundry Gallery is the oldest cooperative gallery in Washington, D.C. It is is seeking to add established and emerging artists in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Artists who are interested in applying for membership are required to send up to five images (jpg attachments, please), bio, and artist’s statement to firstname.lastname@example.org. Wiki Loves Earth 2015 is an international photographic competition that takes place in various countries.
