The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS presents exhibitions that reflect our belief that ART has the power to heal, inspire, provoke, challenge and offer hope. We believe that ART serves as a positive catalyst for healing individuals, society and the environment. We also believe that artists can be powerful world changers.
We curate exhibitions to create more opportunities for artists to showcase their work on an international platform. Through our exhibitions artists increase their online presence, expand their exposure and build art career credentials to add to their resumes.
No entry fee. When we offer our open calls to all artists we do not charge an entry fee. A small participation fee is only applied when the artist is accepted.
On this page you’ll find a list of current and previous art presentations and exhibitions with links.

This exhibition “The Healing Power of Color” is an annual event. It features a wide variety of art in different styles and mediums. The participating artists are members of our art galleries and artists from our art review series. In addition to the artwork artists share how color inspires them so we may better understand more about them and their creative visions.
The Powerful Impact of Color: Color affects your behavior, moods, and thoughts. Your reactions to colors are often deeply personal and rooted in your own experiences. A certain color has the ability to conjure up a profound memory, soothe your frazzled nerves when you feel agitated, motivate and empower you to take action when you are in a state of lethargy, and bring healing energy when you are ailing.
“Color helps to express light — not the physical phenomenon, but the only light that really exists, that in the artist’s brain.” ~ Henri Matisse
The Importance of Color in Art: Color may be the first quality we notice and respond to when viewing a work of art. It may also be the most important tool artists can use to express their deepest feelings, share their beliefs, convey meaningful messages, and transform viewers intellectually and emotionally.

Renee visits every entrant’s website to view more of their artwork and read their full resumes before making the final selections. Renée is the founder of The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS, and also founder and director of Manhattan Arts International, New York, NY. Prior to establishing the online gallery on this website she curated dozens of exhibitions throughout NYC, NY in corporate spaces, galleries, and art centers.
We conduct ongoing promotional activities to bring attention to the exhibitions. We use several social media platforms and send subscription-based email newsletters.
The artists’ selected art work is displayed prominently with the artists’ statements and links to their websites to help them gain recognition, opportunities for exhibitions and sales. We do not engage in any sales discussions or transactions on behalf of artists. We encourage visitors to contact the artists directly.
