David begins each day painting on multiple canvases where he will add media textures and paint with various tools, as he discovers relationships between the colors and the unexpected.

He enjoys using beautiful complementary colors with brushstokes of thick textured paint. His expressive paintings exude a sense of drama, euphoria and enlightenment. He enlivens our awareness about the diverse elements in nature.

David’s uplifting painting “Hope Within” was selected for the Manhattan Arts International “Love, Peace, Unity & Hope” 2025 Invitational Online Exhibition because of its powerful spiritual message and positive impact on viewers.

My art helps me to work thru difficulties and promote a sense of soul healing for myself as well. My process of co-creating with the Creator is a spiritual and therapeutic experience that promotes healing internally.”

“One of the main areas that I’m passionate about are ‘Healing Arts’ projects that integrate the arts with healthcare and the well-being of people. It’s such a great way to communicate and help others in so many ways.”

Fascinating Facts About David: “I grew up in a family of artists. I followed in the footsteps of my grandfather, who was a published cartoonist in the 1950’s. After college I drew editorial cartoons for newspapers and cartoons for national magazines. I started painting in college but wanted to try my luck with cartoons.”
