Praise for The Healing Power of ART In Honor of Nature Exhibition

By Renee Phillips 2 Comments

We are so proud of The Healing Power of ART In Honor of Nature Exhibition, the artists who have been selected, and the reactions to the exhibition. Here, we share praise for The Healing Power of ART In Honor of Nature Exhibition from Meg Black, an esteemed artist.
Meg Black
“How Paintings Tell a Story”, by Meg Black. This is an installation at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA. It celebrates the beauty of nearby Walden Woods.

Meg Black, megblack.com, is an internationally renowned artist and leading innovator in the fibrous pulp medium.  Her focus on nature and the environment yields stunning landscapes, seascapes, New England scenes and garden views.

After viewing “The Healing Power of ART In Honor of Nature” exhibition she wrote: “The variety of visual responses in the exhibit ‘The Healing Power of Art In honor of Nature’ to the ways in which nature empowers us are as riveting as the natural world itself. From abstract impressions that evoke the emotions one feels when watching the sunrise to manipulated photographs of soaring mountain-scapes, the many approaches to this subject are as varied as nature herself. I was rewarded for the time I spent time looking, really looking, at each entry for an imaginary walk through our natural world. It was well worth the adventure. This is one of the most professional looking exhibits to date. I hope the artists get lots of attention for their work.”

Healing Power of Art is exactly what is states. Art is most curable medicine for the sick. A work of art in any room, lobby, or a book of pictures can be calming for the soul. Beautiful art stirs and evokes great imagery. I want to “THANK” Renee Phillips for the is subject that is universally spoken language.
