Nimi’s paintings have been featured in exhibitions curated by our parent website Manhattan Arts International including “HerStory”, an exhibition of women artists, in 2022.

One of her paintings was selected for our 2025 Invitational Exhibition “The Healing Power of Color” on this website. About the painting she submitted she wrote, “It was inspired by a group of strikingly unusual umbrellas while strolling through Dilli Haat—a vibrant and unexpected oasis tucked amid New Delhi’s dust and bustle.”

Nimi’s art is held in private and corporate collections worldwide and has been auctioned to support causes including girls’ education and advocacy for differently-abled individuals. In 2022, Montgomery College featured one of her works on the cover of its Fall Community Arts catalog, further affirming her impact in the art world.

Nimi Trehan’s Artist’s Statement
“My layered art is a visual expression of my healing process and holistic worldview, where everything is connected through life and energy. As I immerse myself in the silence of the natural world, unseen elements awaken my senses, bringing my mind and body into a state of tranquility. Nature’s palette and organic forms flow into my work—abstract and intricate—prioritizing emotional expression over perfection. In creating, I feel renewed and energized, transmitting positive vibrations into the universe.”
