Rajul Shah’s Artist’s Statement: “As an international mixed-media artist whose work engenders respite and renewal from the chaos of daily life, I explore the interconnection between the ancient art of kintsugi, the spiritual world of chakras, and the emotional resonance of color.”
She explains, “The series ‘Alchemy of Renewal’ is a visual representation of the transformative power of embracing imperfections, the balance of energies within, and the vibrancy of the human experience. Just as kintsugi revitalizes fractured pottery, tending to our chakras mends internal energy imbalances. Our scars do not define us; they become a canvas for rejuvenation, renewal, and an evolution into enhanced versions of ourselves, fortified with newfound strength and purpose.”
