About her portfolio titled “Seeking the Light” Therese states, “For me, light is the ultimatum form of Hope. The light is such an important aspect of life. To reach for the light is like reaching for the Divine.”

Her current focus is creating innovative mixed media paintings. She explains, “The textures, bold colors, light and transparency continue to fascinate me.”

“Passion”, shown above is featured in “The Healing Color of Purple in Art”, published on this website. About the color Therese wrote “It’s fascinating how colors can carry such symbolic weight and contribute to our emotional experiences. The richness of purple indeed invites a connection with the intangible, encouraging contemplation and a sense of wonder. Purple calls for your heart to reach out to Spirit and join forces to bring peace, mystery, and magic. The calming and soothing nature of purple can bring a sense of tranquility and balance to both the mind and the environment.”

To Therese: This is so lovely…. I have used tissue in places but your overall consistency of under-covering and colors are bold. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

A message to Therese: Your work is mesmerizing. I am an oil painter, expressive style yet representational. I currently have a painting in the (Manhattan Arts International) New Beginnings Exhibit. Continually loosening my strokes, I strive to understand abstraction in art. Thank you for sharing a little about your process but mostly, sharing your beautiful work.
